| Overview: My Singaporean friend swears by these dried ingredients, which are used for making an ancient Chinese tonic. Supposedly, it can cure all types of ailments ranging from the common cold / flu to preventing cancer. I have seen older generation Chinese brew this type of tonic in a pot of boiling water, and then sip it like hot tea. I'm not a fan of herbal remedies, and these were left to me by my friend who had to unexpectedly return to Singapore. When we were at the Asian market, I couldn't believe how much Chinese roots and herbs cost. Anyway, I'm letting these go for a fraction of what they're worth because I won't use them.
